Please note that the Barco B-10 screens are very stable in windy conditions, but naturally every structure has limits which must not be exceded, and in our case for safety reasons the screens must be lowered when the wind speed reaches force 8 on the Beaufort scale. This is a wind speed exceding 39 miles per hour.
If the screen has to be lowered, or cannot be erected because of strong winds, the company adopts the standard practise which is applied throughout the industry and cannot offer any reduction in the cost of hire of the screens, and the job will be invoiced in full. This is a health and safety matter beyond the control of Bay TV.
